Lisa Hannigan is the amazingly talented Irish female vocalist you will know from listening to all of Damien's recordings and going to see him live.

Lisa is currently working on recording her debut solo release, folowing the end of her musical relationship with Damien Rice in March 2007, when Damien announced that "his professional relationship with Lisa Hannigan has run its creative course". Consequently, Lisa no longer sings at any of Damien's concerts.

Lisa has not yet released her own album, but she has been involved with a lot of other projects and has performed a solo set on a few occasions.

In September 2003 Lisa appeared in a new play by Jessamyn Fiore called "The Mysterious World of Birds", performed in Galway and Dublin.

In December 2006 Lisa recorded a solo set for Ireland's Other Voices tv programme, to be broadcast on RTE in Ireland in 2007. You can read a transcript of Lisa's interview on this programme here.
