Bryce Salvador re-signs with Devils

newjerseydevils.com – Defenseman Bryce Salvador has re-signed with the Devils, it has been announced by Devils' President, CEO and General Manager Lou Lamoriello. Per club policy, no terms were disclosed.

Salvador, 32, made eight appearances for the Devils in 2007-08 and will enter his eighth NHL season.

The 6-2, 220-lb. blueliner was acquired by New Jersey on Feb. 26, 2008, in a deal that sent Cam Janssen to the St. Louis Blues. He recorded one goal and 10 assists for 11 points and 54 PIMs in 64 games this past season.

The native of Brandon, Manitoba, has 16 goals and 47 assists in 455 career games split between St. Louis and New Jersey.

He was Tampa Bay's sixth choice, 138th overall, in the 1994 Entry Draft.
