Harry Kewell is looking forward to a new challenge after completing his move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.
The former Reds winger, who was a free agent after leaving Liverpool at the end of last season, has signed a two-year deal with the Turkish champions and is eager for a fresh start.
"I wanted to move on and I think this is the best way to move on," he said.
"I'm excited, I'm thrilled to bits. I'm looking forward to the new challenge.
"I can't wait to meet up with the team and to get going. It's something different.
"There's a lot of talk about the Turkish league. It's coming up in the world and the national team has done well in the last couple of major tournaments.
"There's a lot of young talent here, and it's different, that's what I'm looking forward to - a new challenge."
