The signs at the northern end of the Park (erected by Melbourne Water in April 2007 prior to the works at that end of the Park) will be coming down in the next week or so. New signs will go up towards the southern end of the Park for the next stage of the works.

The next stage of the works is likely to be funded in the 2008/09 financial year and be carried out by a new Alliance of Melbourne Water and Contractors.

Weed control and the revegetation planting is also likely to continue.
