A note to let you know that State Plant Hire have moved back onto site and will spend the next couple of weeks doing the works between where we left off last year to opposite Crampton Crescent.
Tomorrow State Plant will spend putting up fencing and signs.
First thing next week they will do a bit of remedial work on the last year's rockwork and a couple of rocks from the pre-existing works that took a bit of damage in the high flows of the 21st December.
On Tuesday, Yarra Valley Water will be on site and check the main sewer that runs parallel to Salt Creek in the area that we are working. On Wednesday the works proper are scheduled to start. With luck going our way the site will have dried out enough by then.
Yarra Valley Water were on site today replacing a sewer manhole opposite Hartley Court but this is not associated with Melbourne Water's works.
The revegetation planting has held up well enough through the high flow on the 21st December and through the very dry period leading up to it. We will have another go at mulching and generally get the revegetation areas ready for the infill planting scheduled for autumn.
