Radio2000 is a Multilingual Community Broadcasting Service in Sydney in the State of New South Wales, Australia. The service is managed by the Licensee company:

MCRA LTD is a company limited by guarantee. The company itself is not a community organisation but a public company, managed in accordance to its Constitution in the context of the Corporation Law (1988) and Regulations of the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC). The nature of its operation is non-profit.

As a Broadcasting Service, Radio2000 (MCRA Ltd) comes under the law for Community Broadcasting of the Broadcasting Act (1992), and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Australian Broadcasting Authority.

Radio2000 was established in 1992 under the Broadcasting Service Act (1992) and Multicultural Policy adopted by the Australia Federal Government. The service is provided specifically to cater for the multilingual broadcasting needs of the multicultural communities of New South Wales.

MANAGEMENT
MCRA LTD is managed by a Board of five Directors, each elected for a three years term in accordance with its constitution and the Corporation Act of New South Wales. The administration of the company is conducted by a management team responsible to the Managing Director.
Between the community and the management is the Convenors' Committee. The Broadcasting Group for each community language is represented by their convener in the committee. The Convenor and the Executives of each Broadcasting Group, which are composed of the five financial members, are the Group's delegates to the Annual General Meeting of the Company. Of the five delegates, one is the Convenor whom is elected annually by the members of the group.

LANGUAGE PROGRAM
Programs in Radio2000 are language based, currently broadcast in 50 languages. Each language program is produced and broadcasted by a Broadcasting Team headed by a Convener. The stations broadcasting service is carried out by a team of no less than 300 volunteer broadcasters.
