My mother told me that my father has ADHD. She also told me that I was tested for it, as well as dyslexia when I was in 6th grade. What she tell s me recently is taken with a grain of salt. That aside, it may have some truth to it. I have been thinking my kids have ADHD. One is turning 5 this month and the other is turning 2 in July. They are both boys. I probably should not worry so early, however I cannot help it. I see symptoms of it in my kids since I have and have had students with ADHD and Asbergers Syndrome. My question is if my children have or are predisposed to ADHD, will vaccines cause problems for them? My son is turning 5, as I said, and he is getting his last battery of vaccinations very soon. Just concerned. Thank you for your time. Maya Geiger

    Hello Maya,

Your son should have his vaccinations. There is no correlation between vaccinations and AD/HD.

I wish you the best, Dr. Richard Sogn.
