View the plans for exciting developments at Woodhouse Park: Download proposals [.pdf document] Response form [.pdf document] Plans for the first phase of developments for Woodhouse Park are on display at Almondsbury Scout Hall, 26 Gloucester Road, Almondsbury (in the grounds of the former Almondsbury Hospital) on Saturday 28th July from 10.00am to 1.00pm. Representatives of Avon Scouts and their advisers will be available to discuss plans. The first phase is part of a 10 year strategy for improving facilities at Woodhouse Park, and details of the overall plan for the site will also be available. |

Woodhouse Park is conveniently
situated for expeditions to the Cotswolds, the Mendips and the Wye Valley, and is 8 miles
north of Bristol. The Scout County of Avon's Woodhouse Park is a 36 acre site comprising camping grounds, a Training and Activity Centre and a Pack Holiday Centre. |

The site is enclosed by pleasant areas of woodland. It lies on an escarpment overlooking the Severn Bridges, which are some 5 miles away. The site is located next to the A38 trunk road to Almondsbury, approximately 8 miles north of Bristol and 1 mile from the M4/M5 interchange. |
