They’re back… poised and ready to bend it big time on a stage near you. Yep! Perth’s favourite four-piece, JEBEDIAH, return to rock venues countrywide throughout August and September with a new album ‘Braxton Hicks’ under their independent belts. The band’s fourth album to date will be released on their own label, Redline Records on July 12 with distribution through Shock Records.
It’s been two years since JEBEDIAH released their last album and ‘Braxton Hicks’, named after a mother-to-be’s painless contractions before labour begins, delivers a progressive band with a new vision who have retained their own unique brand of pop rock but this time with greater creative control than ever before. Recorded in a converted Masonic lodge at Perth’s Kingdom Studio’s, the band chose to enlist the guidance of trusted engineer Matt Lovell (silverchair, Something For Kate, Mess Hall) and local mix man Shaun O’Callaghan (John Butler Trio, Eskimo Joe, Gyroscope).
‘Braxton Hicks’ will feature a bonus live DVD including exclusive and previously unreleased tracks but be warned fans need to be quick as this offer is strictly limited and available for pre-orders only.
