Rob Schrab's 4-Minute Film School

June 5, 2008 AT 02:24PM | Comments (0)

The latest episode of the web-series 4-Minute Film School features Sarah Silverman Program and Channel 101 co-creator Rob Schrab. In it, Rob covers the ins and outs of what he called "drawless animation," which you're already familiar with if you've seen Death Cab's "Crooked Teeth" video. Even if you're not an amateur filmmaker, this clip is incredibly cool and worth watching.

New Yacht Rock Episode!

January 25, 2008 AT 04:13PM | Comments (0)

410e4f516b75d1e5ea7d81c249dac8d71_2 For all you LA folks, this Sunday's Channel 101 screening at Cinespace promises to be one of the greatest yet, with an all new episode of the beloved, smash hit Yacht Rock, the show the brought dock shoes and smooth music back, and helped open the worlds eyes to Steve Agee, as well as a bunch of other folks from The Sarah Silverman Program.

Now, independently of Channel 101's ongoing competition, Yacht Rock has been reborn. A special eleventh episode was screened before a packed house in New York, but no eyes have been laid upon it since.

If you are anywhere near Los Angeles, you have a chance to be the first to see it on the west coast, because Yacht Rock 11 will be a special part of the very first screening of our 2008 season.

I missed the New York screening, but LA people, I blog so you don't have to make my mistakes.

Get the details here: HOLY SHIT: NEW YACHT ROCK EPISODE AT JANUARY SCREENING

Rob Schrab Mashes Up Iron Man

September 27, 2007 AT 01:24PM | Comments (3)

The trailer for the upcoming movie of Iron Man has perplexed us to no end.

Sarah Silverman Program co-creator Rob Schrab -- and the creator of the not-entirely-dissimilar-aesthetically-speaking Robot Bastard -- has taken the trailer and, well, "elaborated" on it.

Take the trailer, add a pinch of Rambo, a dash of vocals (a la Beavis and Butthead) and you get this.

Feel free to put your favorite "Iron Man" parody lines in the comments.
