Noric Dilanchian spoke at the User-centric Web 2.0 conference, in Sydney, for Ark Group Australia. His topic was Legal management of Online Social Networks. It was voted, in both content and presentation, as the best talk of the two-day conference.
Noric's topics included (1) Web 2.0 legal case studies in taking responsibility or having it foist on you; (2) Profiting from corporate intellectual assets: domains and intellectual
property; and (3) Managing legal risks: privacy, defamation, discrimination, security.

Noric Dilanchian was scheduled to speak on business collaborations and structuring at the
State Legal Conference,
Wentworth Hotel, Sydney. This paper surveys recent legal and commercial
developments affecting online ventures. In doing so the paper touches on
developments in copyright, trade mark, contract and IT law practice and
procedure. For other sectors it then draws out trends, strategies
and ideas useful for the formation of successful collaborative
arrangements and business structuring.
