Girls' Football Development

Tottenham Hotspur is proud to introduce Karen Hills, our new Girls' Football Development Officer. Working closely with our Community and coaching teams, Karen will be helping the Club to target women's and girls' football, encouraging more girls to start playing the game.

Karen will be operating alongside our Head Coaches in Enfield, Essex, Hertfordshire and North London, offering curricular and extra-curricular coaching for girls at primary and secondary school levels.

The Club will also be linking our Girls' Football Programme closely to our numerous main sports centres across the regions, to offer evening, Saturday and holiday coaching sessions exclusively for girls, starting in October.

In addition, our Girls' Football Programmes will be working closely with the Spurs Ladies team, meaning that talented players may have the opportunity to progress their games to an even higher level.

Having played semi-professional football for Charlton Ladies, Karen has amassed an impressive trophy collection, including an FA Cup winner's medal, a League Cup winner's medal and a Charity Shield winner's medal. Karen also finished runner-up in the FA Cup on two further occasions, and will be completing her Level 3 Coaching Award in September.
