Al-Jazeera:: Maulana Fazlullaah warns Pakistani Govt.

Posted by revolution in : Jihād, News, Pakistan, Videos , add a comment

Maulana Fazlullaah (may Allah protect him) is seen here interviewed by al-Jazeera English Channel. He warns the Apostate forces of Pakistan that the Mujaahideen will attack them with martyrdom seekers if the Government of Pakistan attacks them. The question arises: why would the Government of Pakistan attack these Muslims? It is simply because they establish the Shari’ah and this alone crumbles the credibility of the Pakistan Government and embarasses America’s effort on the “war on terror” since the Shari’ah grants justice to the people at large, brings peace and happiness to the residents who live under it and it creates massive support for the Mujaahideen movement to continue its establishment all over Pakistan (and the world at large).

Thus, it leads the Pakistani Government to take action against the Mujaahideen; and when they do that, their credibility keeps decreasing since they become easy targets for the Mujaahideen. The Mujaahideen have made it clear that they aren’t against education nor do they want destruction of public property; but if the Government attacks, then the properties of the Government will be targeted such as their Government legislated buildings and troops.

That is the punishment for the Government that fights Allah and His Messenger.

Announcing the Martyrdom of the Commander, Abi ‘Abdillaah ash-Shaamee

Posted by revolution in : Afghānistān, Images, Jihād, News, Sorrow, True Shuyūkh , add a comment

Shaykh Mustapha Abu al-Yazeed, the General Commander of al-Qaa’idah in Afghanistan, has announced the martyrdom of the Mujaahid Commander, Abi ‘Abdillaah ash-Shaamee, may Allah have mercy upon him. He was killed in a cowardly US air strike; may Allah give them what they deserve. Below is a summarized translation of the statement released via Al-Fajr Media. To read the full statement in Arabic, click here.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful

Qaa’idah al-Jihaad

Statement on the martyrdom of Commander Abi ‘Abdillaah al-Shaamee and a group of brothers, may Allah have mercy upon them

- Within the teachings of the processions and sacrifice made by the Mujaahideen Commanders and recruits to sacrifice for the Deen of Allah Almighty, and to uphold His word and Tawheed, comes the announcement from the organization (Al-Qaa’idah) of the martyrdom of one of the heroes of the field Commanders who stood in the face of the contemporary Crusader campaign who performed magnificently, our brother Abu ‘Abdullah al-Shaamee, May Allah, the Exalted, have mercy on him and raise him in degrees.

- My sympathy goes to the Islaamic nation in general, and the Mujaahideen in the fields who are fighting in specific, and his parents, brothers and cousins in ash-Shaam, and we ask Allah to keep them in the state of Sabr and Shifa’ until the Day of Judgment.

- Allah, the Exalted, said: And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: “They are dead.” Nay, they are living, though ye perceive (it) not. Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere,  Who say, when afflicted with calamity: “To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return”:- They are those on whom (Descend) blessings from Allah, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance. [al-Baqarah/ 154-157]

- In the American air strikes against the Mujahideen and some companions, Allah had written that Shahaadah would be their end, and we ask Allah for it to be so.

- And Abu ‘Abdallah al-Shaamee - may Allah have mercy upon him - is one of four who suddenly, with Allah’s permission, escaped from the Baghram prison, three years ago, who began to struggle vigorously, and had great enthusiasm; he led and participated in several successful military operations, which made him a source of anger to the enemies of the Deen and a source of bless to the Muslimeen.

AllahuAkbar, may Allah accept him amongst the Shuhada’. A Mujaahid who escaped the prisons of the Kuffaar, not to rush back home, but to dash towards Paradise; and here, after 3 years, Allah granted him his wish.

Make sincere du’aa for him and the other brothers that were martyred alongside him.

(The four escapees, from right to left: Shaykh Abu Yahya al-Libi [Commander and Scholar in Afghanistan], Farooq al-’Iraaqi [obtained Shahaadah in 'Iraaq], Abu ‘Abdullah ash-Shaamee [obtained Shahaadah in Afghanistan], and Abu Naasir al-Qahtaanee [Caught in Afghanistan by US Forces; Imprisoned in Saudi Arabia])

“…And I become a martyr remaining in bandages”

Posted by revolution in : Jihād, Poetry, Sorrow, True Shuyūkh , 2 comments

I ask the All-Merciful for forgiveness - and a final blow that causes the foam to flow

Or a stab with anxious and prepared hands - with a spear that pierces the intestines and the
liver

So that they will say when they pass by my body - May Allah guide you from a fighter, indeed he
was guided

So O my Lord, if my death has approached then let it not be - on a branch that rises with the
greenness of the meadows

But let my grave be the interior of a resting eagle - In the skies among isolated eagles

And I become a martyr remaining in bandages - They fall into a mountain pass in fear

Warriors from Baghdad united them - Fearing Allah, descending upon the march

If they depart from their life, they depart from harm - And they head for an appointment that
is not in the books

The master of the masters, there is no master for me except you - And there is no one O my
Lord other than You, worthy of being close to

I renounce my power and strength to You - and let my strength and power be in my request

And let me be satisfied, that is all I request - even if I encounter myself on a terrifying night

- Ameer al-Zabbah, Shaykh ash-Shaheed, Ahmad Fadeel al-Nazaal al-Khalayleh Abu Mus’ab al-Zarqaawee [Taken from the tape "Follow the Caravan"]

As-Sahab Media:: Martyrdom Operation in the Province of Khost July 30, 2008

Posted by revolution in : Afghānistān, As-Sahāb Media, Jihād, Videos , add a comment

This video shows two Mujaahideen, Abu Hamzah al-Makki and Abul Bara’ah al-Hijaazee, who sold the life of this world for the Akhira.

They explain their reason for doing so saying that it’s for the love of Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta’aalaa; and their joy to the road of meeting Allah is shown on their faces right before the operation.

The plan involved one of them engaging the guards outside the base, while the other rams the vehicle into the building. The first man is then meant to make his way into the base to blow it up. 30 Soldiers were killed as a result including one high-ranking officer.

May Allah accept them amongst the Shuhada’.

“…Do you sit down?”

Posted by revolution in : Jihād, Political Poetry, Sorrow, True Shuyūkh , 1 comment so far

“The People of Palestine have drunk from the cup of grief,

And the wound of Hijaaz in you can no longer heal,

Do you sit down?

Do you sit down while the rulers failed to defend our sanctity,

And their chief seeks Kufr and sustains it?

Do you sit down?

Do you sit down while the merchants fail to pay their Zakaat,

To prepare an army full of bold men?

Do you sit down?

Do you sit down while the heroes did not organize their lines,

And could not free al-Quds from the hands of the aggressors?

Do you sit down while the youth’s did not heal the wounds,

And did not fold or dress the corpses of the children?

So where were the sons of Islaam when the war got intense?!

Would they not respond to Allah’s command and strive?

And the sons of Islaam are nothing but generous,

And the disaster of our loss (i.e., al-Aqsa) has left them weary,

But despite,

But despite the wounds,

Their conviction in the return of the glories of the Caliphate is growing,

And all the burdens caused by the traitors,

Are just specs scattered in the way of Jihaad,

And they swore by Allah their Jihaad will continue,

Even if Hercules or Caesar were to challenge them!”

- Shaykh al-Muhaaribeen, Imaam al-Mujaahideen, Abi ‘Abdillaah Usaamah bin Muhammad bin ‘Awad bin Laadin

‘Do not wish to meet the enemy’ cannot be generalized July 29, 2008

The love for Jihaad and Martyrdom brings a balance to the lives of each and every Muslim; with the sincere and pure intentions complete with knowledge, the Muslim finds himself looking forward to the worship of Allah and perfecting it to the best of his abilities. His desire to follow the commandments of Allah and imitating the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam, increases to great heights. Upon this path, he will find those who will make excuses to slow down this process by labeling it as the “correct” understanding as well as “wisdom”. Whether it is a twist in an aayah or a hadeeth, this is the objective of those who desire to be the Qaa’eedeen [1] of this Ummah rather than to be the flag bearers of the truth and lead their souls into the valleys of death and eternal happiness.

In our times when the Jihaad has reached the status of fard ‘ayn, we still see the sitters happily clinging to their false conspiracy theories about the Mujaahideen. Refuting them only takes a person who is aware of the current events, who knows his religion and always hopes the best for the Mujaahideen due to his love for Jihaad; through this, one can come with the creative military and security excuses to rebuke those who cling to their conspiracy theorists. This is no problem. However, the most dangerous of these people are those who twist the words of Rasoolullaah, sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam, to mean something which conforms to their theories. And some only bring their false interpretations in order to stand as an obstacle in the road of that rush to Jihaad. These people are dangerous not because their argument has weight; nay, their argument has no weight in the eyes of those who have knowledge of Allah’s Deen. Rather, they are dangerous because they are potential criminals in the eyes of Allah and His Messenger since it was Muhammad, sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam, who said, “Whoever lies on me intentionally then let him reserve his seat in hell.” [2]

One of the horrible lies upon our Prophet, sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam, is attributing a different meaning from that which was intended. In this case, we will look at a hadeeth which is often misunderstood in the modern age and used as an excuse to not wish for Jihaad, to not desire Jihaad, and to not rush to Jihaad – even when the enemies of Allah are ravaging upon the Muslim lands.

This hadeeth is narrated by Narrated Salim Abu An-Nadr, may Allah be pleased with him. The freed slave of ‘Umar bin ‘Ubaidullah said: I was ‘Umar’s clerk. Once ‘Abdullah bin Abi Aufa wrote a letter to ‘Umar when he proceeded to Al-Haruriya. I read in it that Allah’s Apostle, in one of his military expeditions against the enemy, waited till the sun declined and then he got up amongst the people saying,

“O people! Do not wish to meet the enemy, and ask Allah for safety, but when you face the enemy, be patient, and remember that Paradise is under the shades of swords.” Then he said, “O Allah, the Revealer of the Holy Book, and the Mover of the clouds and the Defeater of the clans, defeat them, and grant us victory over them.” [3]

Here, we find Muslims twisting this hadeeth to support their agenda of slowing down the pace of Jihaad and in some cases, to not do Jihaad at all. We will turn to the words of the Shaykh, ‘Abd al-Qaadir ibn ‘Abd al-‘Azeez – may Allah free him – regarding this beautiful hadeeth which is twisted by the Qaa’eedeen. He says in, “Fundamental Concepts regarding al-Jihaad,” pgs. 50-59:

And (they say) as long as the disbeliever is in a state of peace with the Muslims, then there is no Jihaad. And they use as evidence, the statement of the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam), “Do not wish to meet the enemy…

And this is the condition of those who believe in some of the Book while disbelieving in some; those who used as evidence, one of the evidences in the matter, while leaving the remaining evidences, as I mentioned in the fourth principle from “The Principles of Holding Steadfast to the Book and the Sunnah”. And the response to this doubt is from different points:

The First: The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) and his companions, who are the best of this nation, may Allah be pleased with them, did not hold these texts upon the point, which those ones understood from it, in that they mean the leaving of the Jihad At-Talab (Offensive Jihaad), as the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) fought the Arabs and then went out to fight the Romans at Tabook. And he (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) fought in nineteen battles. 114 And he personally participated in fighting in eight of them. 115 As for the delegations and the platoons, which he sent out but did not go out in personally, then they numbered thirty-six in the narration of Ibn Is’haaq, and others mentioned even more than that. 116 Then the companions battled, after him (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam), the Persians and the Romans and the Turks and the Copts and the Barbars and others from what is known. So this one who used these texts as evidence to invalidate the Jihaad At-Talab; we say to him:

“This thing that you understood; is it something that the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) and his Companions understood, or not?” Then if he says that they did not understand it, we say to him, “You have understood that which they did not understand, therefore you have judged upon yourself with misguidance and that what you have understood was not from our religion.” This is because the religion was completed in his (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) lifetime. Allah, the Most High, said:

This day, I have perfected your religion for you… 117

“And this understanding of yours is rejected and unsupported: ‘Whoever performs an action, which does not comply with our affair, then it will be rejected.’ 118 And with this false understanding, you have left the guidance of the Messenger (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) and the path of his companions.” He, the Most High, said:

And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers’ way. We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell - what an evil destination. 119

But if he says that they did understand the same thing that he understood, then we say to him: “Their history was upon that which contradicts this understanding. So either it is the truth and they went against it – and no one would say this, except for a Zindeeq – or it is the falsehood and the misguidance, and therefore this was not their understanding nor their actions.

118 Trans. Note: Narrated by Al-Bukhari from ‘A’ishah, May Allah be pleased with her
119 Surat An-Nisaa’, 115

If this is what the Shaykh is saying regarding Jihaad at-Talab, then can you imagine the response if it was regarding Jihaad ad-Daf’ (Defensive Jihaad)?! Sadly, this is the case in our situation today. We find Muslims using this hadeeth against Jihaad ad-Daf’ and to put down the Mujaahideen and their worldwide supporters by making them feel ashamed for disobeying the Prophet when in reality, it is they who are twisting his words!

The Shaykh continues,

The Third: And as for the statement of the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam), “Do not wish to meet the enemy…”, then it was narrated by Al-Bukhari from ‘Abdullaah Ibn Abi Awfa, “On one of the days in which the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) faced therein, he waited until the sun descended. Then he stood up in front of the people to address them and said, ‘O people, do not wish to meet the enemy and ask Allah to be pardoned. Then if you face them, then be patient and know that the Paradise is beneath the shade of swords.’ Then he said, ‘O Allah, Revealer of the Book and Dispenser of the clouds and Defeater of the allied tribes, defeat them and give victory to us over them.’” 121 I say: It is clear from the text of this Hadeeth, that the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) said this in one of his battles, due to his saying, “On one of the days in which….faced therein…” In other words, ‘the enemy’ as Muslim narrated it. And his saying, “Then if you face them, then be patient…” as well as his statement: “…defeat them and give victory to us over them.” So how can this Hadeeth be used as evidence for leaving the Jihaad, while he (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) only said it during the battle? Then the Hadeeth includes inciting (his companions) upon the fighting the enemy. And that is in his statement, “…and know that the Paradise is beneath the shade of swords.” And it is known that the fighter would not be beneath of shade of swords except during the clashing against his enemy while each of them is upon his companion with his sword. 122

So the fact that he (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) said this Hadeeth while heading towards the fighting and the fact that he incited (his companions) upon the fighting in the very same Hadeeth, indicates that the forbiddance of wishing to meet the enemy is not in absolute terms and that it was merely from a specific point. And that is the warning against being satisfied and being overconfident with strength. And it is what Ibn Hajr pointed to in his explanation of this Hadeeth. He said: “He only forbid the wishing to meet the enemy due to what is in that from the state of being pleased and having trust upon the self and being sure of the strength and underestimating the enemy. And all of this contradicts the being cautious and having determination. And it is said: “This forbiddance is held when doubt exists about the benefits or the possibility of harm. Otherwise, the fighting is a virtue and an obedience.” 123 And An-Nawawi said something similar to this. 124 I say: And from that which indicates that the forbiddance in wishing to face the enemy is not in absolute terms, was the desire of Anas Ibn An-Nadhr, may Allah be pleased with him, to face the enemy in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam), yet he did not object to him (expressing) that.

And that comes in what was narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim from Anas Ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, who said. “My uncle, Anas Ibn An-Nadhr, may Allah be pleased with him, was absent from the fighting on the Day of Badr, so he said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, I was absent in the first fighting wherein you fought the polytheists (Mushrikeen). If Allah permits me to participate in the (next) fight against the polytheists (Mushrikeen), then Allah shall see what I will do.’ Then when it was the Day of Uhud, the Muslims became exposed. So he said, ‘O Allah, I offer my excuse to you on behalf of what these ones have done…’ – in other words, his companions – “…and I free myself from what these ones have done…’ – in other words, the polytheists. Then he advanced and met Sa’d Ibn Mu’aath. So he said to him, ‘O Sa’d Ibn Mu’aath, the Paradise, by the Lord of An-Nadhr, I detect its fragrance coming from the side of Uhud!’ Sa’d said, ‘Then I was not able, O Messenger of Allah, to do what he did.’ Anas said, ‘Later, we found him with eighty-odd wounds from spears, or arrow wounds, and we discovered that he was killed and that the Mushrikeen had made an example of him (i.e. by mutilation). So no one could recognize him except his sister who (identified him) from his finger tips.’ Anas said, ‘We used to think – or assume – that this verse was revealed about him and about the likes of him: Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah, of them some have fulfilled their obligations… 125 I say: So this great companion desired to face the enemy, and was truthful towards Allah in that. And with this, you can see that the forbiddance from wishing to face the enemy is only from the point of being satisfied and from pride, which are both blameworthy.

123 “Fat’h Al-Baaree”, Vol. 6/156
124 “Saheeh Muslim Bi Sharh’ An-Nawawi”, Vol. 12/45 - 46
125 Trans. Note: Al-Ah’zaab, 23

What the Shaykh has said is like the way the aayah is understood:

Have you not thought about the group of the Children of Israel after (the time of) Musa? When they said to a Prophet of theirs, “Appoint for us a king and we will fight in Allah’s Way.” He said, “Would you then refrain from fighting, if fighting was prescribed for you?” They said, “Why should we not fight in Allah’s Way while we have been driven out of our homes and our children (families have been taken as captives)?” But when fighting was ordered for them, they turned away, all except a few of them. And Allah is All-Aware of the Zalimun. [2:246]

So they filled their own hearts with empty promises due to the trust in the wrong things. They were overconfident and their Tawakkul was not upon Allah ‘Azza wa Jall. This is the essence of the meaning, “Do not wish to meet the enemy.”

The Shaykh continues the refutation of these people and goes a step further in refuting any other argument they might bring up such as the aayah, “there is no compulsion in religion”,

And with this, you see the falsehood of this doubt, which some of the deviants use as a basis to reject Jihaad At-Talab, which Allah, the Most High, has made a means to make the religion dominant. He, the Most High, said:

And fight them until there is no more Fitnah and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah. 126

And He, the Most High, said:

…to make it dominant over all religions even though the Mushrikoon hate (it). 127

And He, the Most High, said:

…until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. 128

Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allah be merciful to him, said, “And the point of the Jihaad is only so that the Word of Allah will be the Most High, and so that the religion would all be for Allah.” And he said, “And included in the religion being all for Allah is the humiliation of the disbelief (Kufr) and its people and in their being subdued and in implementing the Jizyah upon the leaders of its people and the enslavement upon their necks as this is from the religion of Allah. And nothing would contradict this except leaving the disbelievers in their positions of power and to establish their religion as they please so that they would have the power and the (predominant) word.” 129

I say: And there is no contradiction between what has passed and between His, the Most High’s, statement:

There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. 130

(This is) because the fighting is obligatory so that the Word of Allah would be the Most High. And this would not come except with the Muslims defeating their enemies and raising up the rulings of Islam over the conquered countries. As for the people in these countries, then whoever enters Islam, then that is an excellent matter and whoever persists upon his disbelief (Kufr) then he is not compelled to embrace Islam. Rather, he may remain upon his disbelief (Kufr), but beneath the ruling of the Muslims. So the negated compulsion in this verse of Al-Baqarah: There is no compulsion in religion. It is the compulsion upon faith (Imaan). As for the affirmed compulsion, in the verse from At-Tawbah: …to make it dominant over all religions even though the Mushrikoon hate (it), then this is their being compelled upon the highness of the law of Islaam over them, while they remain upon their religion.

And it has been approved in the Shari’ah to accept the Jizyah from the People of the Book (Ahl Al-Kitaab) and those who take their ruling: …until they pay the Jizyah… And they are not compelled upon Islam. As for the worshippers of the idols, then concerning the acceptance of Jizyah from them, there is a difference of opinion. And review the interpretation of: There is no compulsion in religion, in “Tafseer Ibn Katheer”.

I say: And the Muslim must know that the belief that Jihaad At-Talab is obligatory upon the Muslims, results in a clash with the modern international laws, which forbid the aggression of the countries against one another and prohibit the seizure of lands of others forcefully – these laws, whom the powerful ones who implemented them supersede them – but Allah, the Most High, said:

Therefore fear not men but fear Me… 131

And He, the Most High, said:

Verily, Allah will help those who help His (Cause). 132

And all of these rulings are conditional upon (having) power and the ability. And this ability is obligatory to attain, when inability exists, in order to fulfill these obligations. He, the Most High, said:

And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war to threaten the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others besides whom, you may not know but whom Allah does know. And whatever you shall spend in the Cause of Allah shall be repaid unto you, and you shall not be treated unjustly. 133

——–

126 Surat Al-Anfaal, 39
127 Surat At-Tawbah, 33 & As-Saff, 9
128 Surat At-Tawbah, 29
129 “Ah’kaam Ahl Ath-Thimmah ”, by Ibn Al-Qayyim, Vol.1/8
130 Surat Al-Baqarah, 256
131 Surat Al-Maa’idah, 44
132 Surat Al-Hajj, 40
133 Surat Al-Anfaal, 60

This concludes the words of the Shaykh, may Allah free him from the hands of the Tyrants. Again we bring to the notice of our readers that the Shaykh is speaking in the context of Jihaad at-Talab; so from the perspective of Jihaad ad-Daf’, it is crystal clear, for who is going to defend the lands of the Muslims if we were to understand the Hadeeth “Do not wish to meet the enemy” the way these people have twisted its meaning? Who is going to protect the honor of our men and women, protect the land from Shirk, and establish the Shari’ah?

Who?!

Is it the theorists who love to talk about Khilaafah and what Islaam can do for society?

Or is it the people who sacrifice their lives to bring back the glory of Islaam?

May the eyes of the cowards never sleep.

[1] The Qaa’eedeen are those who sit back from Jihaad. Allah says about them, Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,- Ranks specially bestowed by Him, and Forgiveness and Mercy. For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. [4:95-96] And He, The Exalted, said about them, “If they had intended to come out, they would certainly have made some preparation therefore; but Allah was averse to their being sent forth; so He made them lag behind, and they were told, ‘Sit ye among those who sit (inactive)’.” [9:46]
