"Improved Enfield" Rifles

AIA M10 series rifles incorporate a long list of improvements and refinements over the original Lee Enfield design. Their forged ordnance steel receivers are built 50% thicker to better withstand the high pressures generated by modern ammunition, the bolt head is fully enclosed, headspacing is accomplished via a Brewer (Savage type) locking collar, and the magna-fluxed 7.62x51mm barrels are free-floating for increased accuracy and chrome-lined for maximum bore life and corrosion resistance. All M10 receivers are factory drilled and tapped for an optional steel weaver scope mount and use ten round detachable magazines (the M10's mag release is forward of the trigger guard).

Features

  • Based upon the proven No.4 design, the No.4 Mk.IV has been significantly strengthened in order to withstand the higher pressures of many modern cartridges. Improvements have also been made to overcome original shortcomings of the design. These include a deepened and strengthened receiver bolt track negating chipping of the bolt track leads caused by constant disassembly.
  • The receiver is CNC milled from 4150 steel.
  • Shorter 60 degree bolt throw (versus 90 degree throw on many other commercial rifles)
  • Removable double stack steel magazine box with 10 round capacity.
  • All rifles will be stocked in teak furniture as standard. Though slightly heavier than walnut, teak offers far superior strength.
  • Fitted with Mk.2 No.4 style rear sight. Front sights are post type and are adjustable for both elevation and windage.

ORDERING INFORMATION

INTRASTATE ORDERS

When ordering from within NSW unless being picked up in person from the premises all firearms are required to be sent to a dealer, club armourer or police station (where applicable). In all cases we are able to process the permit to acquire at these premises. The firearm unless being picked up in person will then be sent to a dealer, club armourer or police station for inspection.

INTERSTATE ORDERS

Unfortunately, NSW laws do not enable us to process permits to acquire from other states. In all cases firearms are required to be sent to a dealer, club armourer or police station (where applicable) where they will be registered within that state. In order to take possession it is then necessary to present your permit to acquire when collecting your firearm.

At the time of publication these laws were applicable. However, they are subject to change as legislation is changed from state to state. Please check with your local Firearms Registry should you be unsure of changes within your state.
