there the best conf every years its hard to have a good record in the sec

Submitted by buckeyeboy22 on August 1, 2008 - 8:56am.

yea when georgia one there conf titles the sec wasnt the best confrence so who cares about that

Submitted by SickemDawgs47 on July 31, 2008 - 7:15pm.

maybe the fourth best conf who cares

Submitted by buckeyeboy22 on July 31, 2008 - 5:12pm.

osu has 2 the last 2 years

Submitted by SickemDawgs47 on July 31, 2008 - 2:43pm.

2 sec champs in 8 years the only other team to do that is Lsu 2 sugar bowl wins too

Submitted by buckeyeboy22 on July 30, 2008 - 11:49am.

georgia hasnt done anything and your going to sit here and talk like they have

Submitted by SickemDawgs47 on July 29, 2008 - 11:54pm.

I agree with gatorbait 100% and thats kinda weird a georgia fan and a florida fan agreeing.Big ten is so bad are second best team last year prob could have beaten ohio state worse then LSU oh yeah that was georgia by the way oh and they have 19 returning starters who would love to kick the crap out of ohio state by the way.....Go SEC GO DAWGS and until yall beat the SEC in a NC stop talking and go fuck yourself wow that felt good

Submitted by SickemDawgs47 on July 29, 2008 - 7:35pm.

bowl games prove everything and the south whoops the north

Submitted by beenthundrstruck on July 29, 2008 - 3:25pm.

orionsax2121 i'm not sure if you know this, but UGA and UF play on a neutral field already, so plyaing in the National Championship on a neutral field wouldn't really prove anything that we didn't already know

Submitted by beenthundrstruck on July 29, 2008 - 3:22pm.

At least not in the SEC East
For Georgia to go 11-2 and make a run at the NC, that means they'd have to beat both Tennessee and Florida, and then both of those teams have to lose 2 games. Who is going to beat UF other than Tennessee and Georgia, and who is going to beat Tennessee other than UF and Georgia? Whichever team wins the SEC east is going to win the SEC and probably make it to the National Championship.
Oh and lets not forget the fact that all but one team in the nation has to lose more than one game. So your totally disregarding USC, USF, Texas, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Ohio State(who only has 3 loses in the last 2 years combined, 2 of which were in the NC game), and every other team that will make a run at a BCS conference championship. Last year was crazy, but that's not going to happen every year, and remember that it still took Mizzou and West Virginia upsets the last week of the season to create the matchup that we got last year in the NC. So no 11-2 won't do it. Maybe a one loss, but not a two loss team can make it to the national championship this year

Submitted by olemiss10 on July 29, 2008 - 12:53pm.

nebraska will not be good for a few years. its goin to take a few years for the new coach to get that defense good again, the same defense that gave up 76 points to kansas.

Submitted by HUSKER NATION on July 29, 2008 - 9:21am.

nebraska has things in place , its only a matter of time. by the way u know of any good chat rooms, i used to love chatting about college football???????????????

Submitted by huskerfan55 on July 28, 2008 - 4:24pm.

nebaska is on there way up back to domance

Submitted by huskerfan55 on July 28, 2008 - 4:21pm.

also Bo Pelini a defensive master mind is also gone

Submitted by buckeyeboy22 on July 28, 2008 - 2:16pm.

daddy 39 is right when is the last time a sec team came up north for a game or even out west besides tennesee last year who went out there and lost

Submitted by daddy 39 on July 28, 2008 - 10:57am.

daddy 39 DO you know what we call the sec/ the scared eastern conf: because they all ways talk aboult how tough there sch: is,, why donT they play out side the south?? if the big ten is so week , why donT the boy"s from down south come up and get a easy win?? ill tell you why, all the times they have beaten OSU was in the south,, check it out.. osu plays all over, look at the sch: news flash boy"s we play preety good up north, but no one will come up here. not one sec team, why not get an easy win.

Submitted by buckeyeboy22 on July 28, 2008 - 7:57am.

i think u hate on osu cuz there confrence and its not the hardest journey to get to the nc game. u have to realize osu can only schedule 4 or 5 non confrence games they dont choose who they play in there confrence schedule its not there fault some of the teams they have to play arent the best there in there confrence so they have to play to them. if a sec gets to the nc game it will be georgia not florida

Submitted by gatorbait196 on July 26, 2008 - 8:38pm.

Bascially what we are all trying to say is that the little ten (formally known as the big ten)is weakest conference in the nation period. As far as nebraska and the big 12 you guys are coming back, just make sure in the process you beat up on the little ten!!!

Submitted by HUSKER NATION on July 26, 2008 - 8:31pm.

you better frame that 73 points, because i guarantee you wont see that again. nebraska will restore the order of the north, so watch out. our offense was one of the best in college football and polini will add a great defense.

Submitted by gatorbait196 on July 26, 2008 - 8:28pm.

YEAH OHIO STATE HAD THE DEFENSE AND YOU ALSO GAVE UP 79 POINTS IN TWO NC GAMES. THATS NOT CALLED DEFENSE THAT IS CALLED BLOW OUT. OUT SCORED BY THE SEC 79-38. OH AND WHAT IS YOUR RECORD AGAINST THE SEC BUCKEYES?? VERY BAD!!! GO SEC!!!

Submitted by gatorbait196 on July 26, 2008 - 8:22pm.

NEBRASKA?? ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THAT SAME TEAM WHO KANSAS DROPPED 73 POINTS ON?? ENOUGH SAID!!

Submitted by HUSKER NATION on July 26, 2008 - 8:20pm.

NEBRASKA HAD A HORRIFIC YEAR LAST YEAR , THATS A GIVEN, BUT WHO BETTER TO FIX THAT PROBLEM THEN PELINI, PROBABLY THE BEST DEFENSIVE MIND IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL. COME ON BLACK SHIRTS.

Submitted by HUSKER NATION on July 26, 2008 - 7:32pm.

i used to love talking smack on college football, does anyone know of a good chat room

Submitted by HUSKER NATION on July 26, 2008 - 7:15pm.

GO BIG RED THE SEC GOT 2 BIG WINS AGAINST OHIO STATE, THATS A GIVEN, BUT NEBRASKA HAS OWNED THE SEC IN BOWL GAMES AND THE BIG 12 AND NEBRASKA ARE ON THERE WAY UP SO WATCH OUT FOR THAT TRAIN.

Submitted by Sloopy2 on July 26, 2008 - 3:59pm.

You have little faith in them...its obvious.

Ohio State will play for the title again, I'm feeling quite sure of it.

Won't be LSU (I wish, they return nobody), keep your chin up, might be your Gators (who got 550 yards dropped on them by the team we held to 91 yards).

Submitted by Sloopy2 on July 26, 2008 - 3:56pm.

You'll have to settle for being at the bottom of what's called the worst major conference in football. How does that feel? Ohio State is working on their 3rd straight outright conference title.

Submitted by Sloopy2 on July 26, 2008 - 3:54pm.

Lose the title game, you don't belong.

Sports fans are so dumb.

Submitted by Sloopy2 on July 26, 2008 - 3:53pm.

Because they lost their whole freakin football team from last year. Ohio State returns ALMOST EVERYONE!

GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Submitted by Sloopy2 on July 26, 2008 - 3:51pm.

If Ohio State wins the title game this year, they will be a lousy 2-2 since 2002 in title games.

Ohio State fans are disappointed...we have the defense to WIN THEM ALL!

GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Submitted by gatorbait196 on July 26, 2008 - 6:22am.

ITS A MYSTERY TO ALL IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL ABOUT WHY OHIO STATE YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT HAS THE EASIEST SCHEDULE OF ALL THE TOP TEAMS...TO BE IN THE SEC YOU CAN BEAT IN ANY GIVEN WEEKS, WHY?? CAUSE THE SEC IS THAT GOOD. IF OHIO STATE MOVED OUT OF THE LITTLE TEN AND JOIN THE BIG BOYS IN THE SEC THEY WOULD ENJOY A 3 OR 4 LOSS SEASON EVERY YEAR. SINCE 1996 THE SEC HAS 5 NC AND THE LITTLE TEN HAS 2. WHY THE PAST 2 YEARS HAS THE BUCKEYES HAVE GOTTEN THERE BUTTS HANDED TO THEM IN THE NC GAMES?? CAUSE PLAIN AND SIMPLE THIS YEAR WILL BE THE SAME, MY PREDICTION EITHER BY THE GATORS OR BULLDAWGS OR POSSIBLY BY ANOTHER SLEEPER SEC TEAM. OSU DONT HATE ON THE SEC JUST BECAUSE WE BEAT YOU EVERY YEAR,AND THIS YEAR WILL BE NO DIFFERENT GO GATORS AND GO SEC!!!!
