The 34th International Animated Film Society’s Annie Award winners were announced on December 4, 2006.

The 34th International Animated Film Society’s Annie Award winners were announced at the Alex Theatre in Glendale on February 11, 2007.

Cars by John Lasseter and Joe Ranft
Pixar’s Cars, directed by John Lasseter and Joe Ranft, won the 2006 Annie Award for best animated feature film at the 34th International Animated Film Society Awards. Besides its best animated feature win, Cars also won the Annie for best feature music for Randy Newman’s score. Flushed Away, however, turned out to be the evening’s top winner. The DreamWorks Animation/Aardman Animations feature about life in the London sewers, won a total of five Annies including best animated effects and best "voice acting" for Ian McKellen, who plays the character Toad.
