36ers snare Bruce

The Adelaide 36ers have completed a major recruiting coup by signing young Australian guard Aaron Bruce.
Only earlier this year, Bruce finished his fourth and final year at Baylor University in the US College system and was considered an outside chance to be drafted into the NBA.
Bruce wasn't selected in the NBA draft, but has been working out with various NBA teams in the NBA summer league in an attempt to win a contract.
However, the 24-year-old is unlikely to be offered an NBA contract and will suit up for the 36ers for the next two NBL seasons.
"To secure one of the most exciting prospects in Australia is a great signing for the club," Adelaide coach Scott Ninnis said.
"With players like Jacob Holmes, Ryan Kersten, Brad Hill and now Bruce, we have a fantastic foundation of young stars to lead the 36ers forward over the coming years."
Having secured the services of Bruce, the 36ers will look to sign their final import within the next week.
