Club captain Faye is entering her 13th season at Arsenal. Faye is regarded as one of the best central defenders in England, boasting over 63 caps. She returned to the team last season after missing a large part of 2006/07 because of a serious knee injury. She also returned to the England squad to captain the team at the 2007 World Cup in China. She played in all four of the Three Lions' matches, including a 'Player of the Match' performance in the 0-0 draw with Germany.
