Yesterday, Dad gave a speech to the FL Society of Newspaper Editors in Orlando and attended several finance events in Florida.  Mom is back on the trail and is having a blast.  Check back tomorrow for pics from our adventure in the Everglades.

"Baton Rouge and Tampa"

On Wednesday, we traveled from New Orleans to Baton Rouge where Dad conducted a townhall with the Governor of Louisiana Bobby Jindal. After the townhall, we traveled to Tampa, Florida for a finance event. The girls and I ended the day going to one of my favorite restaurants, Sonic.  I am obsessed with their burgers and cherry limeade.  Today, there are more events in Florida, and my mom is back on the trail!

P.S. The June issue of Vogue Magazine features a profile on my mother.  For the photo shoot, her hair was done by our longtime, talented hair stylist and good friend, Piper White.  Unfortunately, Piper did not receive credit in the magazine and we just wanted to set the record straight and let everyone know what an amazing job she did and always does!

There have been few occasions when I've played hooky from scheduled campaign events; yesterday was one of those days. The girls and I took a break from Dad's finance events in Memphis to pay our respects to "The King of Rock 'n' Roll." I am a diehard Elvis fan and have always wanted to visit Graceland. It exceeded my expectations!  We hope everyone enjoys the pics. On to Florida!

The Blue Plate Cafe!

It was a great location for a "meet and greet" in Memphis.

Dad is always comfortable in these settings.

And he got to chat with all the regulars.

More meeting and greeting.

Blue Plate Café makes the most delicious biscuits I've ever had.

GRACELAND!!!

Waiting in line with our tour headphones in place.

Graceland main entrance.

We tried to coordinate our colors today.

No rest from the crowds.

Check out his living room and the longest sofa ever!

We had a blast.

The staircase.

The best room in the whole house is the Jungle Room.

Mirrored ceilings in the stairway.

Three tvs!

I really want to play pool in here.

Gold records everywhere.

This is the racquetball court that's been converted into a showroom for his gold records and awards.

Check out the concert suits!

Paying our respects.
