In an IBF light heavyweight title eliminator, unbeaten Tavoris Cloud (19-0, 18 KOs) scored a tenth round TKO over former world champion Julio Gonzalez (41-6, 25 KOs) on Friday night at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. Gonzalez' granite jaw was in evidence as he absorbed hellacious shots from Cloud in rounds five and six. By round ten, referee John O'Brien had seen enough and waved the bout off at the 2:50 mark. Cloud looks to have the tools to be a star in the 175lb division. It was the first time the rugged Gonzalez had ever been stopped.

In the co-feature, welterweight Carlos Molina (12-4-1, 4 KOs) outpointed Donald Camarena (19-5, 9 KOs) in an eight rounder by scores of 79-73, 79-73, 78-74.
