Player News (last updated: September 8, 2008)
Spin: Witten is essentially acting as the Cowboys' third wide receiver, and he caught 11 passes for 190 yards against the Eagles in two games last season. They didn't have an answer for him then, and they don't have one now.

ESPN Fantasy Projection (last updated: June 9, 2008)
2008 Season Outlook
Witten set franchise records for catches and receiving yardage by a tight end in 2007, and in the process he edged out Antonio Gates as the most valuable man in fantasy at his position. Tony Romo looked to Witten at least five times in 15 of 16 games last year, and on six occasions Witten had double-digit targets, including Week 14, when he tied the record for most catches in a game by a tight end (15). Terrell Owens' red zone excellence means Witten's touchdown potential is capped, but Witten has averaged a whopping 78 catches during the past four seasons, and that production won't slow down in 2008. There's a case to be made for him as the top tight end, although we won't quite go there.

A year after registering 46 sacks to rank third in the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys kicked the season off with one paltry sack against Cleveland.

T.O. begs for man-to-man coverage

Wilmington News Journal (14 hours ago)
Lito Sheppard wouldn't mind if you believed that he alone had shut down Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens last December, that the Eagles gave him that ambitious assignment, and he came through like the Pro ...
