FEMINISTS were spitting-mad at Barack Obama the other day.
Gloria Allred held a news conference at which she excoriated the Democratic nominee for implying that Sarah Palin, a sitting governor, was a cosmetically enhanced pork chop.
"What is the difference between a pit bull and a hockey mom? Lipstick."

- I REALLY feel for the Hillaryites in Denver. By all accounts, Sen. Clinton has been treated with a lack of respect by the Obama crowd, who've spent all week sounding a lot like Rodney King: "Why can't we all just get along, why can't we all just . . ."

- INDEPENDENCE, Mo., June 30 (AP) - Obama says he will never question others' patriotism during the presidential race.
- THERE'S a new individual right in town, and it has nothing to do with ovaries or wire intercepts. Yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that the Second Amendment protects the fundamental right to own a handgun.
