  2. Located off Chevening Road , Chipstead { see map below }   This is a mature former gravel pit comprising some 74 acres of general mixed fishery. The lake is fed by the River Darenth and incorporates some shallower areas of 3 to 4 feet and yet certain swims where the depths can reach 30 to 40 feet . This fishery , given its size , has over 90 swims so even in the high of summer there is always somewhere to fish .  All of the obvious species are present (Bream, Skimmers, Carp, Roach, Perch, Tench ,Etc) and with the River Darenth flowing through Chub are sometimes resident . Pike are also to be found and in the season ending March 1999 over 15 "20lbs" were recorded and in the 2000 Season a Pike weighting 29lbs 6ozs was caught. A "31"was caught in 1998. 1. Longford Small Lake , Chipstead , Sevenoaks , Kent, TN13 2SD
Located off Chevening Road , Chipstead { see map above } Immediately adjacent to the main lake this is a 3 acre water which is surrounded by mature trees so it is invariably sheltered from the worst of the weather . Fed also by the River Darenth at one end and discharging into the main lake at the other end , as such the water level remains fairly constant . Depths vary from 3 to 15 feet . All the main species are present with Carp , Roach , Rudd , Perch  , Tench, Bream and Skimmers . Tench and Bream can reach over 5lbs also Carp to 22lbs have been caught in this water . Smaller Carp (12ozs to 11/2 lbs ) have also been stocked   and which over time will hopefully grow on.
