Metro Timetable Tips

Enter a Metro route number

  • Don't know your bus route? Use Metro's online Trip Planner, the Metro Regional Transit Map or call Metro Rider Information at 206-553-3000, TTY 206-684-1739.

  • Three options to download information about schedules to your palm held device.
    • Use the Custom Print option from any timetable to create a printable (and downloadable) version.
    • Use Commuter Trip Plans which are a series of trip plan options between two points, such as between your home and your work place.
    • Use Point to Point schedules to create a custom schedule between two locations that are served by at least one route. This option does not allow transfers.

If your PDA is Internet-enabled, or if you have a WAP-enabled cell phone, you can access WAP and Palm versions of Metro real-time bus location information via the MyBus web site. [external link] currently hosted by the University of Washington.

  • Columns on the timetable are not aligned correctly in your browser? Check your browser preferences. Make sure your "fixed width font" choice is not set to a non-fixed width font. There are very few fixed width fonts - examples are Courier, Monaco, and Tekton.

  • Online timetable different from your paper timetable? Take a look at the effective date at the top of the timetable page in Metro Online. This will tell you when the timetable became effective. If a change has been made, the date will be different from the effective dates on your paper timetable.

Sometimes, before a planned service change, a route's run times will change after the paper timetable has been printed. Metro Online will reflect the corrected new times which will differ from the paper timetable although they both carry the same effective date.

  • Need timetable information for a transit agency other than Metro? Look on our Transportation web links page.

  • This symbol, Train Symbol following a route number, indicates the route serves a Sounder Commuter Rail Station. Visit the Sounder web site [external site] for train schedules and fare information.
