Welcome to UnitetheGOP.com

Since February 2008, Unite the GOP.com has persistently pushed for a McCain-Romney Ticket. It is our primary goal to get Romney in as our leader. We know many of you feel the same. Our site has had nearly 400,000 hits and numerous emails that agree with mission and vision of UnitetheGOP.com. Though we are disappointed Romney is not on the ticket, we will still continue to press forward and look towards Romney for President in 2012. Hopefully, McCain will continue to unite the gop and put Romney to work on the ecomomy in his administration. His choice in Sarah Palin was not our first choice but certainly is conservative and shows promise for a win.

Who Do I vote for Now?

What if I still want Romney, should we do a massive write in?

Unite the GOP believes that you must make an educated choice. You must reason and decide based on possible consequences of all the outcomes. Listed below you will find logic our team has brainstormed for you.

1. A massive write-in for Romney for President will not achieve the electoral vote needed to win the election. Here is a link from the archives.gov showing which states are bound by the popular and electoral votes.

2. Writing in Romney would feel like the right choice, but would literally be giving your vote to Obama. Romney would not run as a 3rd party candidate because it would mean an Obama victory.

3. Romney is our choice and we should follow his lead. Romney has set an example for us. Based on his possible options, he has chosen to back Senator McCain. He knows that losing to Obama would be detrimental for our country. He is smart and has obviously deduced the fact that remaining in the Presidential race would not allow him the best possible chance to lead us.

4. Sarah Palin has a great record, proven leadership and does stand for the conservative values we uphold.

During the next election cycle, we should strive to overturn the democratic majority in the house. This action will allow Romney in 2012 to push forward his agenda and change America's economy around.

McCain has stated he only wishes to run one term. Let's keep Romney in the positive mind of the public for the next 4 years, and continue to fight against those that would oppress and bring down our great country towards socialism, especially from within.

Feel free to browse around and EDUCATE yourself about Obama, and join us in upholding conservatives values and leadership.
