ESPN to Televise Seventeen Consecutive Tuesday-Night Shows Culminating in Main Event Winner

The World Series of Poker presented by Milwaukee's Best Light returns to ESPN this Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at 8 p.m. This is the first of 17 weeks of consecutive Tuesday-night WSOP programming, totaling 33 hours which leads to the sameday coverage of the $9.1 Million final table main event on Nov. 11. Lon McEachern and Norman Chad return this week to call a $10,000 Pot Limit Hold 'Em season premiere. The schedule of events ESPN plans to cover includes:

  • July 22 -- 8-10 p.m. $10,000 pot-limit hold 'em
  • July 29 -- 8-10 p.m. $1,500 no-limit hold 'em
  • Aug. 5 -- 8-10 p.m. $5,000 mixed hold 'em
  • Aug. 12 -- 8-10 p.m. $1,000 no-limit hold 'em with rebuys
  • Aug. 19 -- 8-10 p.m. $50,000 HORSE
  • Aug. 26 -- 8-10 p.m. $10,000 pot-limit Omaha
  • Sept. 2 to Sept. 30 -- 8-10 p.m. $10,000 no-limit hold 'em main event
  • Oct. 7 to Oct. 28 -- 9-11 p.m. $10,000 no-limit hold 'em main event
  • Nov. 4 -- 9-11 p.m. WSOP main event final table preview show
  • Nov. 11 -- 9-11 p.m. WSOP main event final table
