August 19th 2008: In a few days, on Saturday August 23, the Symphonic Shades concert will finally be performed. And fans from all over the world who didn't have a chance to come to Cologne or get tickets will have the unique opportunity to listen to the complete concert over the radio or live internet stream. The WDR will broadcast the performance live at 8:05pm German time on their WDR4 station. This translates to 11:05am US west coast time or 14:05pm at the US east cost. Here is the link for the internet stream. This marks also the first time a full game music concert is broadcast live all over the world.
July 8th 2008: Great news! I am proud to announce that my next CD will be the live recording of the Symphonic Shades concert. The catalog number will be HCD10 and pre-orders are taken on http://www.maz-sound.com/Symphonic-Shades/. The CD will feature all music pieces from the concert and be recorded and mastered in the highest quality possible. Of course the most exciting fact is that 120 virtuoso musicians will play the music, which will make this production an amazingly exceptional milestone.
July 3rd 2008: On Saturday, the 5th of July, at 11:05am PST (8:05pm German time), the German WDR4 radio station will replay That’s Sound, that’s Rhythm, a special program recorded in February, featuring the opening fanfare from Symphonic Shades (Grand Monster Slam). You can also listen to a internet stream.
April 13th 2008: The second concert is also sold out now! While I wish we had a bigger venue to give even more fans the opportunity to attend this event, it makes me very happy that we exceeded all expectations with the ticket sales and I also heard that this is a record for the WDR as well. Go to the Symphonic Shades Website for more news updates including the just released concert program. A big thanks to everyone and I am so very much looking forward for the concert day! :)
April 7th 2008: I am happy to report that a special arrangement of the well known Turrican 2 Main Theme will be part of the concerts on August 23rd in Cologne. On the Symphonic Shades Website you can find a lot of background stories (only in German language right now) about this and all the other arrangements. The tickets for the second concert are also almost sold out, but a few are still available through Ticketonline and KölnTicket. Don't miss out on this great event.
January 29th 2008: Because of the great interest and many people asking for more tickets, we are extremely pleased to announce that the WDR and the orchestra agreed to play a full repeat of the concert on the same day as the premiere (August 23rd 2008) at 11pm. You can go to the Symphonic Shades Website for more info or here for the ticket sales (also now available at KölnTicket). It's gonna be an amazing night! :)

September 24th 2006: I have a new music page at Garageband.com that features the tracks from my former mp3.com page. The material was there for a while, but the quality was really bad due to their use of the Realplayer format. Since then, they have switched to regular mp3 files and while those still don't sound as good as my CD versions, the quality is appearently the same now as it was on mp3.com. Because of this and in addition to many Fans requests, I decided to resurrect the collection. Still missing at this point are the comments / descriptions of each track, but I might fix that at some point. Enjoy! :)
July 13th 2006: The highly anticipated "Immortal 3" double CD is now available. More information can be found on this website. I contributed 2 new Turrican remixes that were produced late last year in my studio. Also, we were able to re-record the Apidya Medley (the same Arrangement as was played in Leipzig 4 years ago) with live Orchestra. We are also pleased to announce that the whole CD project was finalised at the same Mastering Facility (Pauler Acoustics) as my earlier Turrican Soundtrack CD, with outstanding results.
April 24th 2006: The brand new Play! Game Music concert tour is about to launch and I'm proud to announce that my music from "Apidya" will be performed amongst other popular Game Music themes in Stockholm, Sweden on June 14th and that I also plan to attend in person. Unfortunately this particular event is sold out already, but I urge everyone interested in Game Music to keep an eye on the other upcomming Play! concerts.
December 1st 2005: Our friends at reFX have released an updated version of QuadraSID, a VST virtual instrument plugin that recreates the sound of the legendary C64. I've created an updated bank of factory patches for this amazing synth and also composed a little demo song (called "Quadra Sphere") to show off some of the possibilities. This plug is a must for computer musicians who want to capture the unique character of old skool game music or want to add new flavours to their sound palette. Go to this page to find out more...
August 4th 2005: It's official - The Concert for the opening of the Games Convention in Leipzig will feature a medley of music from the classic Giana Sisters, orchestrated by Shiro Hamaguchi (famous for his orchestrations on Final Fantasy).
July 28th 2005: Finally after a long time we managed to release the "Bridge from the past..." album on iTunes. Click on the following button that takes you directly to the album: Bridge from the Past... - If you rather prefer a real CD, it is of course still available through CD-Baby.

July 1st 2005: It's been quiet for a while now but that doesn't mean nothing is happening. My work schedule is pretty busy, but as usual in our biz, everything is top secret until the time is right. I've been also working on new material in my spare time, most notably Giana Sisters for mobile phones as can be seen here! This is not a bland remix of the old stuff, but brand new music by the way.
Mar 19th 2005: Updated the link section which contains links to a excellent German fan site and forum.
Feb 1st 2005: Site redesign is finally in progress, still a lot to add and fix, stay tuned...

In other news: The German Games Convention (held in Leipzig in August) will again feature a live Game Music concert with big Orchestra. They are planning to play music from my Turrican project.
April 19th: I just released a new track on elctronicscene.com. It's called "Tomorrow's Yesterday (Instrumental)". This was originally a remix for a vocal dance track from my german friend and producer Doug Laurent. Since it wasn't released for quite a while now and the future for the track is uncertain, I decided to release the instrumental version for my fans.
