Star Trak: Willie Nelson is considering a role in a forthcoming movie called "Songwriter" as a record company executive who "takes advantage of" Mary Kay Place . . . Barry Manilow fractured his ankle an hour before his Paris debut at the Olympia Theatre last week, but insisted on disco-ing through "Copacabana" anyway . . . Clint Eastwood's new movie will include appearances by Mel Tillis, Charlie Rich and Phil Everly; the producer is looking for a "country and western 'Saturday Night Fever'" success for the soundtrack . . . Rumors are rife that Robert Stigwood ("Saturday Night Fever," "Grease," etc.) will open a disco in New York . . .
