Giancarlo Fisichella is to start from the pitlane in the Singapore Grand Prix following his crashes during the Saturday practice and qualifying sessions.
The Italian failed to set a time in qualifying after hitting the wall in practice and running off the track on his first lap in Q1.
His Force India team made repairs to his car afterwards, as well as further set-up changes, and that means they had to remove the car from parc ferme restrictions.
A stewards' statement on Sunday morning confirmed that as parts fitted to the car were different from the ones originally used, so he will have to start from the pitlane for the race.
