Cyrillic Script

This page grew out of the requests of numerous people for information on how to write Cyrillic script. The information is presented here with notes on some of the characters. The printed font is +Benguiat from Plus Technology Information, a company that makes some very nice Win1251 Cyrillic fonts and has provided many (including this one) for free.
 

 

When the lower-case letters , and  follow another letter, a small "bump"  is put in front of them. Thus, the Russian word for "salad" looks like this:

NOTES:

  1. The lowercase "" has two acceptable variations: .
  2. The letters , and do not begin words in Russian and do not have capital forms in script.
