Born in Wellington, Pauline lived and worked there, as well as at Baradene and Loreto Hall. In Australia she was at Burke Road, Rose Bay, Sancta Sophia and Kerever Park, and has been remembered with affection, appreciation and gratitude at all these places.

The following is an article from the Wellington Evening Post of 22 December 1983 - Erskine College at Island Bay will never be the same after today - its faceflift has begun. The most spectacular part of the facelift was to shift an entire two-storey block from behind the school to a new location 200m away.

It was recently reported that two former pupils who decided to go out to Island Bay and have a look around the old Erskine College, went into the "Community" from the old Study Room to have a good snoop, the door slammed behind them, and woops, they were locked in.
