Cultivate the spirit of Maintenance - Rear Admiral Nuno
The Chief of the Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Arthur Riby Sampa Nuno, has admonished service personnel to cultivate the culture of maintenance in all fields of endeavour. This, he noted, would go a long way to promote the life span of government property thereby reducing government expenditure.

GHANA- CHINA RELATIONS DEPEENS
The Chinese Deputy Minister for commerce, Mr Fu Ziying has suggested to the Deputy Minister for Defence Hon William Ofori Boafo and the service chiefs in the Ghana Armed Forces to help maintain the relationship that exist between Ghana and China.

5 Bn DONATES TO MEDICAL CENTRE
The 5 Battalion of Infantry Presbyterian/Methodist Church has donated a Kasapa phone to the Arakan Medical Reception Station in Burma Camp. The phone has been credited with GH¢100 worth of units and will be recharged when necessary.

SECURITY IS EVERYBODY’S BUSINESS
The Minister for Presidential Affairs and Chief of Staff at the Office of the President, Hon Kwadwo Mpiani, has indicated that security ought to be everybody’s business and not only the responsibility of the security services alone. He said this in a speech read for him by Mr Mensah Bonsu of the Office of the President at the end of a three-week security sector governance and management course at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) at Teshie, Accra.

A-three-day seminar on Electronic Warfare (EW) awareness organised by General Headquarters of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) in collaboration with International Training and Support (ITS) from Germany has ended in Burma Camp.

PROFESSIONALISM SHOULD BE YOUR KEYWORD-DEFENCE MINISTER
The Minster for Defence, Hon Albert Kan-Dapaah, has urged soldiers to make professionalism their keyword. Hon Kan-Dapaah said this during a durbar he had with soldiers in Kumasi, Tamale, and Sunyani as part of his three-day working visit to the Northern Command. The Minister commended the troops for their attitude towards work, the maintenance of civil-military relations and high level of discipline in the Armed Forces.

GHANAIAN PEACKEEPERS IN LEBANON RECEIVE UN PEACE MEDALS
South Lebanon Ghanaian peacekeepers serving in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) have been presented with UN Peace Medals at an impressive ceremony held at the Headquarters of the Ghana Battalion (Ghanbatt) at AL-QAWZAH.
