Bioshock Ships to Stores
Retailers nationwide are scheduled to receive their shipments of 2K's amazing and immersive Bioshock for the PlayStation 3. In what has been a very grueling wait for those that chose the PlayStation 3 as their next-gen console of choice, this port of Bioshock does not disappoint, as we've already covered in our review. Gamers can expect the very same quality and attention to detail found in the original on their PS3 copy.“We are very excited to bring BioShock to an entirely new audience of gamers,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “With its new features and the PS3 exclusive downloadable content, we are confident that players will have even more reasons to fall in love with the unique and unforgettable world of Rapture.”
Additionally, aside from a few improvements made to the game, such as trophies, new difficulty, and all new downloadable content, the PS3 version of Bioshock is also our first look at the sequel. Upon completing the game, you will be shown a trailer for Bioshock 2, and, of course, it too is headed to the PS3. Go out there and grab your copy of Bioshock, it should be available nationwide tomorrow.

some games are timeless, I believe this is one of them.
Im not saying you could play it forever like say Cod4, GTA4 or possibly FarCry 2 (if it really is that good).
..But Bioshock will be enjoyed today as it was enjoyed yesterday and still played tomorrow by people who havent played it.
I will play it through, might even do it a few times (probably not though), then I'll trade knowing that it was one hell of a game.
Maybe Bioshock 2 will be a keeper? still, it is a crime against gaming not to play this.
Its like "oh theres no point playing Ico or SotC because theyre PS2 games and years old..." madness, sheer madness.
If a game is good it doesnt matter when you play it, whether its now or in five years time.
a classic is a classic.
