Kathy (Marker) Wiles - 2005 Athlete
Kathy Marker came to Anderson from Linn, Ind., in 1984 to play basketball, softball and volleyball.
Marker earned 12 letters in those three sports and was All-Conference in all three, earning distinction as the only female athlete to ever win four letters in three different sports.
On the basketball floor, she was a three-time team captain and MVP in basketball as well as All-Conference in 1988. She still holds five school records and ranks in the top 10 in nine career categories.
On the softball diamond, she was a two-time team MVP (1986-87), two-time All-HCW selection (1986-87) and team captain in 1988. She still holds three school records and ranks fifth on the career triples list.
In volleyball, she was a two-time All-HCW selection (1986-87) and team captain in 1987.
Anderson University is proud to name Kathy (Marker) Wiles to its Athletic Hall of Fame.
