This Should Be News
- 10.24.2008 - 12:24 PMBarney Frank and Joe Biden are the sodium pentothal of the Democratic Party. Biden told us to be afraid on national security. Frank tells us they Democrats will be coming after us with a big tax increase. Now Frank tells us that he wants a 25% reduction in defense spending.
So let’s get this straight: we are going to see more than $4 trillion in new spending, have a big tax increase, and defund our military — while certain to face international challenges where “it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.” And this is what Democrats are saying?
If the McCain camp were not so busy at the dirty laundry festival, they might make use of all this in one last punchy ad.

To be fair, McCain’s up with a Biden ad and it’s a good one. I’ll bet the sun won’t set today without Sarah citing Barney out on the stump.

I don’t know how reliable Politico is these days. It seems to have swerved left and is pitching the same Demo talking points as the rest of the MSM synchronized swimmers.

We should defund the pensions of the Congress starting with Biden, Barney Franks and Chris Dodd, Reid an Pelosi. All the way down the last Congressmen.

If Democrats are speaking this loudly, a lot of voters will hear it, particularly those who might not be listening to John McCain.
Let the Democratic Party keep talking, and talk the electorate out of a deal.

Grim stat: Chicago ahead of N.Y., L.A. in murders. These are all run by Democrats.
That’s the model for the rest of America. Very sad.

You’re citing the Politico for honest commentary on the McCain campaign? Seriously?

It’s also a moronic stat. Anyone can play that game: The six states with the highest murder rates are Nevada, Louisiana, New Mexico, South Carolina, Arizona and Tennessee.
See a trend? That’s right. All of them are historically red states. They all voted for Bush in 2004.
A few seem to be coming to their senses this cycle.

And, New York’s mayor was elected as a Republican. He’s since left the party of losing to become an independent. So to say New York is run by Dems is a half truth at best. The executive in charge is not a Dem.

Tennessee, Louisiana, Nevada, South Carolina, and New Mexico are historically GOP states? Put the crack pipe down, Sage, because that’s crazy talk.

Who cares what Barney Frank wants? He has no authority. Did Obama say this? Of course not. And it won’t happen. Did Pelosi or Reid say this? No. Not going to happen. Frank doesn’t speak fo anyone but his district.
It’s telling that you have to travel this far to attack Obama. But I guess, when you’ve tried every other lame smear, you might as well try to drag the liberal gay guy into the mix. Maybe it’s not too late to get a few more gay marriage initiatives on the ballot?
