Always use an instead of a in front of any word beginning with a vowel or a letter, word, or acronym with a sound similar to a vowel, like, 'That is AN SAT test.' SAT sounds like it could/does start with an E, as in Essential, therefore should be preceded by AN instead of A. If you are going to post, make sure you do it PERFECTLY, w/o any imperfections, otherwise your point is moot.
