ORLANDO -- The mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony remains in jail despite efforts from a TV bounty hunter to get her out.
Leonard Padilla said he had arranged to bond Casey Anthony, 22, out of jail.
Padilla was hoping to get Casey out Tuesday, but it didn't happen in time for her to be fitted with her electronic monitoring device.
Padilla maintains that getting Casey out of jail is the best way to find Caylee.
"She lied to the cops, she lied to everybody. I think, initially, she will not tell the truth, but I think she's going to have a sitution where she's sitting at home, grandma's there, which is her mom, so let's just say she has absolutely no feeling, but just a little and she says, 'Hey, here's who has the baby.'" Padilla said.
Anthony has been behind bars sine July 16 on charges of child neglect and lying to authorities.
