The Dallas Stars and the Tampa Bay Lightning completed a minor NHL trade Sunday that sent defenceman Andrew Hutchinson to Texas.

Hutchinson, who has played in 97 games for Nashville, Carolina and Tampa Bay, was exchanged for the rights to winger Lauri Tukonen, who plays in the Finnish Elite League.

In just two appearances with the Lightning this season, Hutchinson has no points, but he picked up a goal and 13 assists in the American Hockey League.
