July 1, 2008 - With the star being stolen, everyone is trying to find out who stole the star. It's confirmed that whoever stole the star is from the village, but now everyone is trying to find out who stole it and where they've taken off to. Naruto and the team want to help find the star also, but the ninjas of the Star Village seem don't want to cooperate. It becomes very clear to the team that there's something that the Star Village is hiding.

The team separates in this episode. Neji keeps track of the Akahoshi, Rock Lee and Ten-Ten follow two ninja from the star village, and Naruto keeps track of Sumaru in hopes of finding what secret the village is hiding.

Ten-Ten and Lee's stealth mission was interesting, because we don't usually get to see the two work together, but they have a nice chemistry together when they don't have Neji around. The two don't turn out to be very good stealth members though, because they're discovered from the beginning.

Sumaru and some of the other star ninjas go after the thief who stole the star. By using their Chakra they can find where the thief is. They find him at Hells Ravine, the ravine where Naruto almost fell in. When Sumaru and the others confront the thief, the thief puts them all to sleep. Naruto and Neji try to help, but their attacks do nothing. The thief runs off and takes Sumaru also.

So we still don't know who the thief is, but it seems that the star village does. This episode didn't quite live up to the episode before it, but it wasn't a bad episode. The problem with this episode was that really by the end of this episode, we know nothing more than we did in the last episode. The star ninja village has, but we still don't. If I had to take a guess, I would assume that the thief is Sumaru's dad.

This episode was a bit more boring than the last, but the nice animation and dialogue still kept this episode decent. While not as good as the last, I'm still looking forward to how this mission will conclude.
