Clohamon centre of pig meat scare

CLOHAMON, SOUTH of Bunclody, was at the epicentre of the biggest food and farming scare since foot and disease this week. The dioxin contamination problems which have brought the pig and pork industry to a standstill have been traced back to the a company with its office in the village.

Frustration for first team

ENNISCORTHY and Wicklow were left frustrated on Sunday last when their Leinster League Division 1 clash was postponed just before the start after the referee decided that the frost had not gone from the pitch.
