Andy Gray says Tony Adams' Pompey are looking okay, but he fears for Joe Kinnear's Newcastle.

I would describe the start Tony Adams has made to Premier League management as okay.

He could have done with a bit more luck than he's had, I don't think he's enjoyed the best of good fortune at the start of his reign like Harry Redknapp's had at Spurs, but he's had a normal start and there's no alarm bells ringing at Fratton Park.

The team look like they understand what's required of them and it will be interesting to see what he does in January if he gets the opportunity to buy and sell players. If Tony has lost two or three of his best players by the beginning of February then it might be a different story.
