Indy Appeal

Independent Christmas Appeal

The world's poorest people need more than charity at Christmas. That is why the Independent Appeal is not asking you for money to help dig a well in the developing world. The charities we are supporting in our appeal try to address the problems in a more profound way. VSO sends professionals to share their skills with key organisations in poor countries. Action on Disability and Development works on changing attitudes towards disabled people. And One World Action partners oppressed groups in their struggle to get their voices heard. Each is working not for charity but for change.
