Best Game No One Played

In a perfect world, the best games would be the ones that sell the most, the worst games would be relegated to clearance bins, and we would never have to worry about licensed tie-ins for the latest Disney cartoon to feature a talking animal on a soul-searching quest to find his true self. But the world we live in is far from perfect, and not every quality game goes on to become a commercial success. Whether it's atrocious box art scaring away customers, a risky new IP, or a mom-and-pop publisher that couldn't print enough copies to meet demand, there are always cases when great games go unsold. Here are some of our favorite tragic cases from this year.

You know what's funny about this category? People naturally vote for the only game they know, which entirely contradicts its purpose.

Valkyria sold well so disqualified, Culdcept is predictably niche and also not a good participant.

Valkyria chronicles. But since it isn't an option, World of Goo. Both were absolutely fantastic.

is there any point in voting? voting just shows how many people have actually played the game or picked the game with the highest review score or they just no how to click at a purple rectangle with white words in them and an !

zulu, Sins of a Solar Empire sold TONS of copies. Remember, all, that we had sales figures when choosing these games. You may be surprised that while some games don't seem to have done that well, they may have actually sold better than you might think.
