KU starters injured
Kansas cornerback Daymond Patterson and left guard Adrian Mayes both left Saturday’s game because of injuries. KU coach Mark Mangino said he wasn’t sure about the status of any of his injured players.
KU quarterback Todd Reesing played with a noticeable limp in the fourth quarter. Reesing was unavailable for interviews after the game because he was getting treatment.
“Hopefully it’s nothing really serious,” Mangino said. “I don’t think it is. Trainers are looking at him now. I think he’ll be OK.”
