Purdie: Late winner

Rob Purdie's injury-time penalty gave Darlington a dramatic 2-1 win over Bournemouth.

A spot-kick was awarded for a trip by Jason Pearce on Darlington substitute Franz Burgmeier and Purdie tucked away the winner.

Darlington had levelled on 83 minutes with a first goal of the season from striker Pawel Abbott, a long-term absentee with knee trouble.

Abbott, who had come on at half-time, was on hand to score with a cool finish after Steve Foster split the Cherries defence with a fine pass.

Bournemouth had taken the lead when Marvin Bartley crossed for Danny Hollands to score from close range in the 34th minute.
