Reserve, La. - St. John Sheriff’s Office deputies are searching for a murder suspect wanted for a shooting that left one woman dead and a man injured, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.

Calvin Mitchell, 22, is wanted as one of the shooters in the Reserve murder after he was identified in a photo line-up, police said.  Mitchell’s last known address, according to police, is in the 19000 block of Hwy 22 in Maurepas.  Police consider him armed and dangerous.

In the December 30 shooting, police went to 24th Street in Reserve, finding a woman dead inside a car, shot 12 times, and a man shot twice.  Police believe there were two shooters but have only identified Mitchell so far.

Anyone with information is asked to call (985) 652-2773.
