    Calm returns as Israeli troops withdraw
    Gazans enjoyed a second night of calm as Israeli troops continued their withdrawal after their 22-day onslaught. Hamas, which has claimed a victory over Israel, said its fighters would hold their fire for a week to allow the troops to withdraw.

    At least seven worshippers were killed and dozens injured when a church in Sao Paulo in southern Brazil collapsed on Sunday evening. Witnesses said the roof of the church, which can hold 3,000 people, collapsed during a service.

    Tribesmen have abducted three gas workers in southern Yemen, one of them a German engineer, their employer said on Sunday.
