The Super Bowl is America's unofficial holiday, pitting the two top teams in the NFL in the most anticipated and highest-rated event of the year. Super Bowl XLIII will be played on February 1, 2009 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida and broadcast on NBC.
The NFL's All-Star game, held the week after the Superbowl, pits the best players from the AFC against the best from the NFC. Fans, players and coaches vote to determine each conference's roster. The game has been held at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii, since 1980.
Each February, hundreds of the very best college football players are invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Ind., where executives, coaches, scouts and doctors from all 32 NFL teams conduct an intense, four-day job interview in advance of the NFL Draft.
The annual NFL Draft occurs every April at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Teams select amateur college players in seven rounds, spread out over two days. Draft position is determined by reverse order of finish and is broadcast in its entirety on NFL Network.

Located in Canton, Ohio, the Pro Football Hall of Fame is home to dozens of the all-time great playmakers and decision makers from years past. Each year the Hall of Fame inducts up to seven former players or coaches for enshrinement into the Hall.
The 2008 Preseason gets underway on Sunday, Aug. 3 when the Indianapolis Colts take on the Washington Redskins in the annual Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio. All 32 teams will play four preseason games in preparation for the regular season kickoff on Thursday, Sep. 4.
The NFL will kick off the 2008 season on Thursday, Sep. 4 when the Washington Redskins travel to Giants Stadium to take on the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
The New Orleans Saints will host the San Diego Chargers on Oct. 26 at London's Wembley Stadium in the second year of the NFL International Series.
