The food posts today are of the main meal type, sweets will be featured on Friday. Even if you aren't including a meal at your party these fun foods make a great dinner for Halloween evening :)
Did you know when you cut up hot dogs (turkey dogs for us) and boil them that they curl up and look like worms? Put them on a plate with egg eyes (hard boiled eggs cut in half with the tip of an olive)
and strawberry jello (with berries) for brains and you have a crazy Frank'n monster meal! This is what we had at our Halloween party last year and the kids loved it.
Frank'n Monster Meal
Little Nummies has a very creative bat tostada :)
Jessyratfink shares this great Halloween Pita Pizza idea! Set out the toppings and let the kids create their own face :)
I love this skeleton veggie and dip tray from Munchkins And Mayhem!
Who doesn't love the Mummy Dog?! Details at Picky Palate :)
So cute! A Jack-O-Lantern layered Mexican dip from Stonewall Kitchen.
Found via Thimble :)
Yum, one of my favorite salads! The mozzarella caprese done Halloween style by Evil Mad Scientist :)
Tomorrow look for lots of Halloween party crafts!

Nan from http://www.potsandpins.com/blog/
won a contest to be on the Emeril Halloween show for her "Dead Man on Worms" recipe. Basically she forms meatloaf into the shape of a man and serves it over spaghetti. It's perfect for Halloween! And very kid friendly too. :)

Mmmm, yummy. Much better than the peeled grapes and plain cooked spaghetti we endured for our Halloween parties.
