In the fall of 2004, Tenzing Kernan travelled to Kieve, Ukraine for six weeks to work with programmer Igor Gorbenko on the development of a 3D computer poker simulation. Having worked with dozens of programmers during his 15-year career in the video game industry, Tenzing was amazed by Igor's speed and skill, and his ability to grasp key design concepts.
A strong friendship was born of respect for one another's creative and technical skills, experience and work ethic. A mutual philosophy to strive for excellence bonded the two. Two years after that first project, Igor and Tenzing joined together to form TKWeb, focusing primarily on Internet websites and applications. In 2008, they added a skilled graphic designer to the team.
